Under Tasmanian local government electoral laws, donations (including cumulative donations) of $50 or more must be disclosed to the Tasmanian Electoral Commission (TEC) and will be published on a public register. As the candidate is a sitting elected member, donations (including cumulative donations) of $50 or more must also be disclosed to the General Manager of the Hobart City Council and will appear on the Council’s public gift register. By donating, you confirm this contribution is made freely and not in exchange for any benefit or advantage. Please note that donations to local government candidates are not tax-deductible.
